Das einzige Dorf in dieser Region mit mehr als 1.000 Einwohnern ist Ales.<br \/>Dieses Gebiet, das sich durch seine administrative, sozio\u00f6konomische und geografische Koh\u00e4renz auszeichnet, erstreckt sich zwischen drei bemerkenswerten nat\u00fcrlichen Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten: der basaltischen Giara-Hochebene, die f\u00fcr ihre einzigartigen vulkanischen Merkmale bekannt ist, den ausgedehnten Obsidianablagerungen des Monte Arci und dem Berg Grighini.<br \/>Die Kulturg\u00fcter von Alta Marmilla, insbesondere die arch\u00e4ologischen und kunsthistorischen, zeugen von einer reichen und vielf\u00e4ltigen Geschichte, die sich \u00fcber Jahrtausende erstreckt. Die Wurzeln dieser einzigartigen Geschichte reichen zur\u00fcck bis zur Ankunft pr\u00e4historischer Gemeinschaften in diesem Gebiet.<br \/>Im Laufe der Geschichte spielte das Gebiet aufgrund seiner charakteristischen Landschaft, seines Rohstoffreichtums und seiner nat\u00fcrlichen Ressourcen eine wichtige Rolle als Transitroute. Vor allem der Abbau und die Nutzung von Obsidian, der in verschiedenen Regionen des Vulkankomplexes gefunden wurde, haben die Siedlungsmuster, insbesondere in den h\u00fcgeligen Gebieten in der N\u00e4he von Flussl\u00e4ufen, stark gepr\u00e4gt. Er beherbergt das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Obsidianvorkommen im Mittelmeerraum und hat historische Wurzeln, die bis in die pr\u00e4nuragische Zeit zur\u00fcckreichen und alte Br\u00e4uche und Legenden hervorrufen.<br \/>Sechstausend Jahre nach der ersten Nutzung durch neolithische Gemeinschaften wurde der Standort in den 1950er Jahren f\u00fcr den Perlitabbau umgewidmet, wobei Steinbr\u00fcche und Tagebaue eingerichtet wurden.<br \/>Heute bietet diese alte Abbaust\u00e4tte ein faszinierendes Schauspiel aus Licht und Farbe. Der Weg, der zum Hauptsteinbruch f\u00fchrt, ist die erste Attraktion. Er ist mit zahlreichen kleinen schwarzen Steinsplittern bedeckt, \u00dcberresten von Obsidian. Nach f\u00fcnfmonatiger engagierter Arbeit fand sich am 18. November 1989 eine Kerngruppe von nicht weniger als 113 Mitgliedern zusammen, um den Verein Antonio Gramsci Geburtshaus zu gr\u00fcnden. Die Satzung des Vereins wurde zu diesem Zeitpunkt ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00df genehmigt.<br \/>Im M\u00e4rz desselben Jahres erhielt der Verein von der Region die Genehmigung, das Geburtshaus von Antonio Gramsci zu nutzen. In diesem Geb\u00e4ude wurden ein Archiv, eine Bibliothek, ein Versammlungsraum f\u00fcr Versammlungen und kulturelle Veranstaltungen sowie ein kleines B\u00fcro eingerichtet.<br \/>Seit 1990 organisiert die Vereinigung regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Gedenkfeiern am 22. Januar, dem Jahrestag von Gramscis Geburt im Jahr 1891. Die Akademie wurde 2010 gegr\u00fcndet und organisiert eine Vielzahl von Aktivit\u00e4ten wie Initiativen, Treffen, Studien, Konferenzen, Debatten, Veranstaltungen und Seminare. Ziel dieser Aktivit\u00e4ten ist es, das Bewusstsein der Verbraucher, Institutionen und Unternehmen f\u00fcr die au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche Qualit\u00e4t der sardischen K\u00fcche zu sch\u00e4rfen. Das Hauptaugenmerk der Akademie liegt darauf, die herausragenden Produkte der Region auf internationaler Ebene zu pr\u00e4sentieren und das kulturelle und \u00f6kologische Erbe, das eng mit der sardischen K\u00fcche verkn\u00fcpft ist, besser bekannt zu machen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus spielt sie eine zentrale Rolle bei der Ausbildung und F\u00f6rderung junger Talente, die eine f\u00fchrende Rolle bei der Wiederbelebung der lokalen Esskultur und der einheimischen Produktion \u00fcbernehmen sollen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus unterst\u00fctzt die Akademie Initiativen, die darauf abzielen, neue Unternehmungen im Lebensmittel- und Gastgewerbesektor zu gr\u00fcnden.
